What is the field Sale ?

The full name of the field Sale ? Is “Allow Sale of Name YN”. YN means Yes or No. So do we allow the sale of a customer name to a third party.? This field is automatically set to YES, but it allow you to change it to NO.

Sale of Names is a source of revenue.

Often names in your mailing list are sold to third party organizations for marketing and research purposes. However, if a customer does not want their name sold, we can set the “Allow Sale of Name YN” to NO, so that it will not be sent out when the mailing list is sold.

If your company has a policy of NOT selling names, we can easily change the default setting so that when a new record is created it is automatically set to NO, instead of YES
