What is CASS Certification?
CASS is a U.S. Post Office acronym that stands for “Coding Accuracy Support
System.”
The term “CASS” is widely used when referring to verifying addresses and zip codes.
There are significant mailing cost savings to the publisher who uses CASS certification
in handling of bulk mailing.
You can check these savings at the US Post Office website by doing a search for
“CASS certification”, or my consulting with a mailing house. Some publications buy from an independent CASS mailing software company. You will want to check to see which one is the most cost effective.
Suibscribers Fool does NOT provide CASS certification. Why? Simply because there
are dozens of services available on the internet and through mailing service companies
who can do it cheaper.
Typically most publishers use a mailing house to address, package and mail their
product. Subscribers Fool is set up to export the address information in a form that
mailing houses can readily use.
